Dear Ma’am/Sir,

I am Mannah Grace B. Lumanlan, a graduate from the DOST class of Daniel R. Aguinaldo National High School, Matina Davao City.   I am persuaded to write you by reason of my need to be given a scholarship grant because my parents have no sufficient means to support me in my Tertiary Education. In support of our incapacity is the Income Tax Return of my parents, which hereto attached.
While my father was engaged in the business of sand and gravel before, this business collapsed equipments were foreclosed leaving us not able to continue the said business.
My father now is unemployed due to his illness since I was Grade 6. Even the house we used to live in is no longer ours as it was sold to our creditors to pay off our debts. We are presently renting a small house.
In spite of the economic crisis we are now suffering. I am still dreaming of finishing my studies. I opt to take up Industrial Engineering for the reason that when I graduate my job would absolutely be of great help to the country’s economy, like what have happened to countries like Japan, Australia, Britain and many more industrialized nations. After five years of studying, I imagine myself striving hard in discovering ways on how to improve Philippine’s productivity, profitability and effectiveness which of course has a great impact to the society’s development that which I am aspiring.
More power and prosperity to you!

                                                                                                       Very Truly Yours,

Thank You Letters from New Scholars
Dear Sir/Madam,

A pleasant day to you!
I am Junrey P. Ocon, one of the selected lucky students to enjoy the Tanging Yaman Foundation, Inc. scholarship. I should probably say I cannot be sent to school/college if I were not selected as one of your scholars. That’s why when I knew it, I was really very happy, that at last, there’s a hand held for me to come and realize my dreams.
Now, I am building my foundation for a better future, aspiring to be a Math teacher someday. I would assure you that I will continue struggling on my studies to prove that you’ve not been mistaken for choosing me I will nurture it and try my best to be worthy of  your trust.
Thank you very much for being one of the bridges to my dream. I do hope that you can help many more deserving students build their future.
Again, thank you and to God be the glory.

Very Truly Yours,

Junrey P. Ocon

Dear Tanging Yaman Foundation,

I’m one of your scholars. My name is Jubelle D. Cabatingan from Culion, Palawan studying at Loyola College of Culion. I am really blessed to have your support with my studies. My father died last March 26, 2009, the day before my graduation. I was really desperate and because of financial lost; I thought I don’t want to study anymore. When I received the information about your financial support regarding my studies together with my other classmates, I was inspired then. I pursued my study. Now I’m doing well in my lessons. I was inspired by you and by my father. Thank you very much. I will do my best to do my studies. I am working hard.
God Bless you.

Yours,
Jubelle D. Cabatingan

Thank you Letters from the Graduates of SY 2009-2010
Dear Fr. Manoling,

I am honored to be a recipient of the Tanging Yaman Foundation, Inc. Your generous support has helped me fulfill my lifelong dream of finishing college. Growing up in a home where my mom and my dad had to work very hard to make ends meet has made me realize the value of a college education.

My first semester as a freshman at Saint Louis University had been both challenging and exciting. It seemed that academically, I was off to a great start, having made the dean’s list for the term. I am glad to have the opportunity to thank you personally for your generosity. Without donors like you, many students would be unable to pursue the career of their dreams.

Thank to the generous organizations such as yours, this goal is now within my reach.

Sincerely,
(Sgd.) Delight Balanban

Dear TANGING YAMAN family,

We would like to thank you for the support extended to CHRISTINA GUARDE during the SY 2008-2009. Your assistance became her bridge from dream to reality as she was able to graduate from her course and is now preparing for her board examinations in Social Work.

In behalf of our director, Fr. Edward Dinter, SVD, we extend our salutation for your mission in helping our youth build a brighter future for themselves and, hopefully, for our country.
Sincerely yours,
(SGD.) MANGYAN MISSION / MT. TABOR MANGYAN FORMATION CENTER

"Praise be Jesus, Mary and Joseph!

A pleasant day to you and all your members! Sir, I wrote this letter to extend my appreciation and heartfelt thanks in your support in my studies. I've been so thankful that there is a foundation that continues to help deserving students with potential and competence to finish their studies in spite of hardships and financial difficulties.

It's an honor to be chosen as one of the deserving students who receive financial support from the Tanging Yaman Foundation. And for that "DAGHAN KAAYONG SALAMAT." I assure you and your members that I will do my best to finish the course (BS Nursing) I am taking.

I will continue to pray that your foundation will be more successful and blessed with more blessings so sthat you can help more deserving students to finish their education and fulfill their dreams.

I also ask for your prayers that God may continue to give me good health and can gain more ideas in every step of my journey. Help me also to pray for my family, that even in the hardship of life they will continue to hold on, on God's Divine Providence.

THANK YOU!

Yours truly,
