Tabang Eskwela Project
Most of the schools are located in the coastal areas of Camarines Sur which were terribly devastated by Typhoon Reming. Many of the beneficiaries were about to drop out of school because their parents did not have the money to send them to school and some of them would rather have their children work than go to school.
Under the Agap-Bicol Program, in collaboration with Simbahang Lingkod Bayan, Tanging Yaman was able to provide funding assistance for twelve (12) elementary schools in Camarines Sur for school fees, school supplies, computer tutorial, weekly tutorial and feeding program.
Transportation Allowance for 8 College Scholars in Naga
Through the ACI Sisters in Naga, Tanging Yaman was able to provide eight (8) college scholars in Naga with transportation allowance to buy bicycles. Bicycles would be owned by the Sta. Rafaela Maria Family Service Center, managed by the ACI Sisters so that the next batch of scholars could use the bicycles again as a means of transportation going to and from their schools.
