On August 6 and 15, the San Roque Cathedral of the Diocese of Kalookan carried out a two-day rice distribution, extending much-needed support to 416 families. With compassion and dedication, cathedral volunteers and coordinators went to Barangays 5–20 and various BEC/Community Chapels to bring aid directly to the people.
Families gravely affected by the recent typhoons, along with senior citizens and persons with disabilities, were given priority—ensuring that those most in need received comfort first.
This act of solidarity is more than just the sharing of rice packs; it is a reminder that in times of hardship, the community’s love and care shine brightest.
