The Arnold Janssen Kalinga Foundation immediately used the 250 kg of tomatoes from TYF in their community kitchen.  They feed 250 homeless people four days a week and provide holistic human development formation, training, and psycho-spiritual interventions. AM+DG

Maraming salamat to Caritas Manila and the Archdiocese of Manila Restorative Justice Program for arranging the delivery of 500 kg tomatoes donated by TYF to the Manila City Jail. The jail houses 6,000 male and 2,000 female Persons Deprived of Liberty.

This morning, Feb 13, 2023, San Vicente de Paul Parish in Ermita, Manila distributed our donated tomatoes during their community pantry. They will also use the tomatoes in their feeding program, which runs six days a week, from Monday-Saturday. Maraming salamat to Fr Joel Rescober and his hard working parish volunteers.

500 kg of tomatoes heading straight for Kalookan jail c/o Diocesan Restorative Justice Ministry

Diocese of Antipolo brought their own crates when they picked up 1 ton for immediate distribution to parishes. Kuya here in photo was also with us the other night helping unload the truckload from Bongabon, Nueva Ecija.

Caritas Manila's Damayan program has been facilitating links between TYF and parishes in the Archdiocese of Manila. Today, Caritas vans delivered 2 tons of tomatoes to 8 parishes with feeding programs.

Through your overwhelming support and generosity, we were able to rescue tomatoes:

🍅 2,355 kg from Brgy. Warding, Bayambang, Pangasinan
🍅 3,650 kg from Brgy. Managos, Bayambang, Pangasinan
🍅 2,508 kg from Bongabon, Nueva Ecija, and
🍅 5,704 kg from Narvacan, Ilocos Sur

All these are part of the 1st to 3rd tranches of tomato distribution to NCR Parishes, Feeding Programs, and Prison Ministries.
