TYF and Firstlight held a Christmas gathering for 600 women at the Correctional Institute for Women in Mandaluyong City. Each received hot meals, snack packs, and hygiene kits. The CIW women hosted a simple program that added more fun and meaning to the occasion. Thanks to our donors and our mission partner, Firstlight.

P120,000.00 worth of rice packs were distributed to 100 typhoon-affected scholars of the Philippine Jesuit Prison Service (PJPS). These were distributed too as an early TYF Christmas gift to the Scholars. In a video message, Nanay Lolita, mother of a PJPS Scholar, expressed her gratitude for the rice assistance received. Through the partnership of Xavier Ateneo’s Social Involvement and Advocacy Program (SIAP) and the Tanging Yaman Foundation, 500 families in Cagayan de Oro City and Misamis Oriental received P200,000 worth of Noche Buena Packs, bringing joy and hope during the Christmas season.
This endeavor was made possible through the support of valued partners: the Archdiocese of Cagayan de Oro, Samdhana Institute, El Gaucho Community Relations, and the Talungan Village Homeowners Association.
