Relief Packs for Candon and Buguey

Ms Angela and Ms Rayzel traveled overnight from Candon City, Ilocos Sur, to pick up 400 rice-grocery packs for families whose homes and farmlands were devastated by floods spawned by Typhoon Maring.

We are expecting the truck bringing the rice-grocery packs for 2000 families to arrive in Buguey, Cagayan early this afternoon. We thank our anonymous donor for lending their truck to us. We also thank the Office of the Vice President for the on the ground coordination with the LGUs and relief pack distribution in the communities. We are raising funds to provide rice-grocery packs for 3000+ more families in Benguet, Isabela, and La Union

Tanging Yaman Foundation, Inc, Ateneo de Manila University, and Simbahang Lingkod ng Bayan, once again appeal for your support for our KAPIT NORTE! Typhoon Maring Relief Operations in Northern Luzon.

Rice-grocery packs for 300 families in Candon, Ilocos Sur, and for 2000 families in Buguey, Cagayan are on their way. We are raising funds to provide rice-grocery packs for 3000+ more families in in Benguet, Isabela, & La Union.

We thank the assistance of the Office of the Vice President for coordinating with the LGUs and distributing relief packs to the various communities.
