On July 23, 2017, TYF Chairman Fr. Manoling Francisco, SJ, together with Seminarians of St. John Vianney Theological Seminary, Religious of the Virgin Mary Sisters, and collaborators from the Social Action Center of the Archdiocese of Cagayan de Oro visited and conducted relief operations for school children in four (4) evacuation centers in Baloi-i, Lanao del Norte.

This year, Tanging Yaman Foundation, Inc. is happy to announce the 26% increase in the number of our scholars. We have a total of 101 beneficiaries of the TYF’s Scholarship Program from all over the Philippines this School Year 2017-2018.

Tanging Yaman Foundation, Inc. Chairman Fr. Manoling Francisco, SJ together with Archbishop Antonio Ledesma of the Archdiocese of Cagayan de Oro(ACDO), ACDO Social Action Center Director Fr. Saturnino Lumba, SSJV, several Religious Sisters, Seminarians and lay leaders visited the evacuees in Brgy. Bito Buadi Parba, Marawi City on July 18, 2017. The group distributed relief packs and sanitary kits to 430 families. The beneficiaries expressed deep gratitude for this is the first time that they received aid since the start of the conflict in Marawi. They also expressed their desire for peace and end of conflict soon.
