Food and Vegetable Packs Distributed to Communities and Fire Victims

TYF continues to send supplemental aid to various Parishes in NCR. 5 Tons of Assorted Vegetables were distributed to 10 parishes in the Diocese of Kalookan while 500 families in Pasig through the Parish of Sta. Lucia Parish received vegetable packs.

TYF and Navy’s Continuous Relief Operations In The Visayas

Headquarters, Naval Forces Central (HNFC), Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu, February 13, 2022 – The Philippine Navy’s Patrol Boats 358 and 359 of 5th Patrol Boat Division together with Assistant Chief of Staff for Civil Military Operations, NF7, NFC and Civil Military Operations Unit – Central (CMOU-C) conducted relief operations in Caubian Island, Lapu-Lapu City.

LCDR JONATHAN M LAYNO PN, Commanding Officer of 5th Patrol Boat Division spearheaded the transport and distribution of donations to the local residents of Caubian. LCDR NEIL RAFAEL M YBERA PN, Assistant Chief of Staff for Civil Military Operations Unit, NF7 together with the CMOUC personnel participated in the said relief operations.

Donated relief items included 100 boxes of distilled water, 10 sacks rice (50kgs), 2 sacks rice (25 kgs), 13 sacks bath soap, 8 boxes canned goods (sardines), 7 boxes canned goods (tuna), 1 box Kopiko coffee, 6 boxes assorted noodles, 1 bag blanket (small), 4 boxes angel alcohol, and 38 bags assorted clothings. These were successfully delivered and received by Hon. Paterno Lumampas Uy, Brgy. Chairman, Caubian Island, Lapu-Lapu City.
The said relief goods were donated by Tanging Yaman Foundation and partner stakeholders of Naval Forces Southern Luzon as part of the mission to help the victims of typhoon “Odette” in Central Visayas.

The Visayas Command, AFP through Naval Forces Central, is one with the LGUs and partner stakeholders in bringing prompt, responsive and effective assistance to the island communities affected by the onslaught of typhoon “Odette”.
