During the height of the rains and flooding, our mission partner, Saint Vincent de Paul Parish, remained steadfast in serving the street dwellers of Ermita and Malate, Manila. On July 23 and 25, a total of 500 street dwellers received hot meals. We are grateful to the volunteers of SVPP who braved the rains to distribute food packs, and to our generous donors and mission partners for making this outreach possible.

TYFI promptly responded to the request of Loyola College of Culion to support their students affected by the recent typhoon. Many have not received their weekly allowance as roads remain impassable and sea travel is unsafe. We provided food and hygiene kits to 73 students. Our heartfelt thanks to the LCC volunteers for their dedication in assisting their community during these challenging times.

Our mission partners at Sto. Rosario Parish in Sasmuan, Pampanga will distribute rice packs, beddings from Green Sun Hotel, and choco drinks from RFM Corp. to 1,000 families in Sasmuan, Macabebe, and Lubao, Pampanga. Many of these communities remain submerged in floodwaters.

On August 1, 2025, Metrobank Foundation, Inc., Tanging Yaman Foundation, Inc., and the Good Shepherd Cathedral of Novaliches jointly conducted relief operations in Sitio Kislap and Bagong Barrio, Fairview, Quezon City.
Metrobank Foundation sponsored relief packs for 750 families, while TYFI provided support for 525 families. Fairview Barangay Captain Jonel Quebal expressed his gratitude on behalf of the beneficiaries, sharing that the covered court where the distribution took place had been completely submerged in floodwaters, which rose to the second floor of nearby houses.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to our mission partners—the Metrobank Foundation and Good Shepherd Cathedral—along with our donors and volunteers for their steadfast support.
Aside from monetary donations, we are now accepting in-kind donations starting today, July 28, until Friday, August 1.
At present, we have enough volunteers from Ateneo. We will post updates should additional help be needed.
