100 Families in San Simon, Pampanga Receive Relief Packs

TYFI through the Nuestra Señora del Pilar Parish distributed relief packs to 100 families in San Simon, Pampanga, where many communities remained submerged even days after the typhoon and habagat. On August 29–30 and September 4, parish volunteers reached families in San Miguel, Sto. Niño, and Sta. Cruz, delivering much-needed aid and comfort.

We sincerely thank our donors, mission partners, and volunteers whose unwavering generosity and dedication continue to bring hope and relief to affected families.

Sharing Hope: Rice Packs Reach 1,000 Families in Pampanga

On August 6–7, 2025, Tanging Yaman Foundation, together with our mission partner Sto. Rosario Parish, brought hope and relief to the coastal communities of Sasmuan, Macabebe, and Lubao, Pampanga. A total of 1,000 families from 14 chapels received rice packs. To reach these underserved areas, parish volunteers braved the waters, transporting the rice packs by boat so that no family would be left behind.

Fr. Arjon dela Cruz, the newly assigned Parish Priest, shared his gratitude:
“Sa bawat pagsakay ng bangka upang maabot ang bigay na biyaya, nakita ko ang mukha ng ating mga kapatid na tunay nilang pinagyaman ito, at sila ay lubos na nagpapasalamat. Naibsan ang takot, nawala ang pangamba, at naitawid ang mga araw dahil sa kabutihang iniabot ng Tanging Yaman Foundation.”

We extend our deepest thanks to our donors, mission partners, and volunteers whose generosity and dedication made this mission of love possible.

Sharing Sustenance: 1,434 Families in QC Receive Rice Packs

Despite storms and flooding, hope reached 1,434 families in Quezon City through the compassion and dedication of the Diocese of Novaliches and Caritas Novaliches. Together with our mission partners from Saint Joseph Parish, Ina ng Lupang Pangako Parish, Mother of Divine Providence Parish, Sagrada Familia Parish, San Isidro Labrador Parish, The Our Father Parish, Immaculate Conception Parish, Ina ng Buhay Parish, and San Lorenzo Parish, rice packs were lovingly delivered to families in need.

We are deeply moved by the courage of our parish coordinators and volunteers, who braved the rains to ensure that no family was left behind. Their generosity of time and spirit, alongside the unwavering support of our donors and partners, remind us that even in the most difficult times, the light of bayanihan shines through.
