Relief and Rehab Projects for Families Affected by Cebu Quake

On October 4, 2025, the Tanging Yaman Foundation (TYFI), in partnership with the Parish of the Holy Family of Nazareth headed by Fr. Ralph Argoncillo, distributed relief packs to 203 households in Binabag, Bogo City, Cebu, recently affected by the earthquake. The distribution was held across four chapels: Sitio San Roque, Santo Niño, Birhen sa Henar, and San Antonio. We extend our gratitude to all our donors and volunteers who made this relief mission possible and meaningful.

TYFI remains committed to helping earthquake-affected families by preparing for the rehabilitation of 200 homes, providing ₱5,000 worth of shelter kits per family. We appeal for your generous support to help families rebuild their homes and restore their dignity.

P2M Worth of Construction Materials for Rehabilitation of 400 Homes in Masbate

The Philippine Navy is loading ₱2 million worth of construction materials, sourced from various suppliers in Cebu City, onto the naval vessel BRP LC290 docked at Ouano Wharf, Cebu. The vessel will transport the cargo to Masbate City Port, where the Philippine Army will unload and deliver the materials to parishes across Masbate. Caritas Masbate will spearhead the rehabilitation of 400 houses.

P1.2M Worth of Construction Supplies For Masbate

Over the weekend, Tanging Yaman Foundation, Inc. (TYFI), in partnership with Caritas Masbate and other local collaborators, mobilized efforts to address the urgent needs of communities affected by the devastation of Typhoon Opong.

As part of our response, we are preparing the first tranche of ₱1.2 million worth of construction supplies to support rehabilitation projects in Masbate. The materials, sourced from Cebu, will be transported to a naval vessel docked at Ouano Wharf before being shipped to Masbate. Upon arrival, the Philippine Army will assist in unloading and delivering the supplies to Caritas Masbate for proper distribution.

Given the recent earthquake in Cebu, we are closely monitoring the situation to determine if operations will proceed as planned or if adjustments will be necessary.

Rice Aid Brings Relief to 300 Families in Mabalacat, Pampanga

TYFI, in partnership with VIDES Pinoy volunteers and the Salesian Sisters, distributed rice packs to 300 families in Mabalacat, Pampanga last August 24.

The activity was held at Mary Help of Christians School during the VIDES Medical Mission Camp, reaching families in the communities of Airmens Oratory, Atlu-Bola, and Monicayo.

We extend our gratitude to our donors, the Salesian Sisters, and their dedicated volunteers for making this meaningful outreach possible.

1,670 Families in the Diocese of Malolos Receive Rice Assistance from TYFI & Peace and Equity Foundation

From July 31 to September 3, eight parishes in the Diocese of Malolos joined us in distributing rice packs to 1,670 families in Valenzuela City and various towns in Bulacan. This mission was made possible through the generous support of the Peace and Equity Foundation, which donated 200 sacks of 25-kg rice.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the parishes, their priests, coordinators, and volunteers whose dedication made this outreach successful: Parish of St. Helena the Empress, Nuestra Señora del Santísimo Rosario Parish, San Antonio de Padua Parish, Sta. Cruz Mission Parish, San Juan Bautista Parish, Diocesan Shrine and Parish of St. John the Baptist, Sto. Cristo Parish, and Our Lady of the Lord’s Presentation Parish.
