On August 22, 2022, the next day after the Nagtahan community in Sta Mesa, Manila caught fire, Tanging Yaman Foundation, Inc., distributed food items (rice, canned goods, instant noodles) to almost 190 families.

The 24 sacks of rice from TYF were distributed by the Pius XII Salesian Sisters to the outreach community in the Paco district. Every Friday, groups from nearby areas - "Friday Friends" - come for catechesis and a simple merienda. Tanging Yaman Foundation Inc. through GoShare and 11 CMO Battalion, CMOR PA sent Relief Goods this morning to Earthquake-affected communities in Abra. The following are for distribution: 40 boxes Meat loaf, 40 boxes Karne Norte, 40 boxes Sardines, 40 boxes Instant noodles, and 50 sacks of rice (25 kgs).

The magnitude 7.0 earthquake that hit Northern Luzon last July 27, 2022, is said to be the strongest to hit Luzon since 1990. Relief and Rehabilitation efforts are much needed in Northern Luzon.
